Our Mission
The Vanderbilt Center for Transplant Science catalyzes research to advance solid organ transplantation, spanning basic and translational science to clinical and health services research. Through fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, the Center drives innovation by:
- Creating opportunities for scientific exchange
- Encouraging faculty from diverse disciplines to apply their expertise to solving transplants biggest problems
- Developing high-quality data assets
- Offering expertise in study design, analysis, and grant preparation
- Disseminating impactful research findings and
- Cultivating the next generation of transplant scientists
Services Offered
- Requests for data and/or consultation about study design, statistical analysis, and informatics approaches for transplant scientific projects
- Mentorship and training for fellows and early-career researchers
- Support for multi-center research studies
- Scientific exchange with leading researchers from other institutions through speaker series and smaller meetings
